The District is nestled between the Cooper River Delta and the southeastern end of Prince William Sound and covers approximately 2.3 million acres. Beauty and adventure surrounds this magnificent place. The Copper River Delta Bird Festiva l draws bird lovers from all over the world as millions and millions of birds pass through on their ways to nesting grounds.
