Overview
Greers Ferry National Fish Hatchery, established in 1965, is nestled along the beautiful tailwaters of the Little Red River below Greers Ferry Dam. Nearby you'll find excellent opportunities for camping and world class trout fishing year-round. In cooperation with the State game and fish agencies of Arkansas and Oklahoma, the hatchery provides mandated mitigation of Rainbow and Brook Trout. The trout are distributed into tailwaters below federally operated dams located within Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. The hatchery is also involved in the conservation of imperiled non-game fishes. Over 50,000 people visit annually.
