Casa Marina Hotel and Restaurant

Overview
The Casa Marina Hotel and Restaurant, built in 1925 and a member of Historic Hotels of America® since 2005 was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. Historic Hotels of America is the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation® for recognizing and celebrating the finest historic hotels across America. When Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant opened in 1925, the Roaring Twenties were in full swing, and Jacksonville Beach was a favorite playground for the rich and glamorous. Boasting an automatic sprinkler system, the Spanish Mediterranean-style inn was the first modern fireproof building at the beach. As the playful years turned into the war years, a succession of owners transformed the hotel into an assortment of businesses, from a tea room to a 37-room apartment building. By 1991, a veranda and third-story Penthouse Lounge had been added to the original structure. Today, it operates with 23 deluxe guestrooms and parlor suites and proudly hosts over 150 weddings each year. Celebrating nearly a century of romance, the Casa Marina is still the Grand Lady of the Beach. For Price Match Guarantee and Special Offers please visit, please visit HistoricHotels.org .
