With its 1928 opening, the hotel was the most modern hotel in the southwest and the first air-conditioned high-rise hotel with elevators in the state. Guests are invited to stay and experience eclectic cuisine, a gift shop, an old-fashioned barber, a shoe repair shop, and a full-service restaurant and lounge.
