Kooskia National Fish Hatchery is located in beautiful north central Idaho. The hatchery is operated by the Nez Perce Tribe on behalf of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; and produces 600,000 spring Chinook salmon annually. In late summer, visitors can see returning adult salmon at the Clear Creek trap, or see their young being cared for throughout the year.
