Overview

Green Lake National Fish Hatchery is located between Green Lake and Graham Lake. The hatchery raises one of the nation's most significantly depleted fish species, the Atlantic salmon. This hatchery raises up salmon to smolts for stocking in New Hampshire and Maine rivers. We are open every day from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., except for major holidays. We offer a self-guided tour at any time, and with advance notice, we can offer a guided tour for large groups. Please call (207) 667-9531 to schedule a tour. Tours typically run 45 minutes. The hatchery occasionally closes due to weather. We advise you call ahead if you are planning to visit from afar or are bringing a large group of people.
